Built from an observation.
Confirmed by science.
GripSpan was founded on a simple question: why did my father have the hands he had — and why don't I?
Your hands are a record.
What do yours say?
My father's name is Jesus. He has the hands of someone who has lived. Rough. Thick. The kind of hands you notice when someone shakes yours. He didn't build them — they were built by decades of carpentry, construction, and work that left a mark on everything it touched. Including him.
As a kid I assumed I'd have hands like his one day. That it was just something that happened to men as they grew up. I didn't understand yet that his hands weren't a given — they were a record. Of every plank laid, every wall built, every year spent doing something real with his body.
A palmist reads your hands to tell your future. Look at yours right now. What do they say about your past?
I'm not my father. I don't lay bricks. I don't work with wood. But I refused to accept that modern life — keyboards, phones, meetings — was the only story my hands were allowed to tell. There had to be a way to give them back their purpose.
That question became GripSpan.
Jesus. Carpenter, builder. Hands built by decades of work.
The answer to the question.
Why this product
exists.
I’ve spent my life obsessed with how things work—mechanically, physically, and scientifically. From a degree in Sports Science to decades of training in everything from powerlifting to martial arts, I’ve always looked for the logic behind human performance.
But the biggest lesson didn't come from a book or a gym. It came from the summers I spent working construction with my father. I realized that no training program in the world could replicate what ten hours on a building site does to your hands. That was an education no degree covers.
When I looked into the research, it all clicked. The data from The Lancet and JAMA wasn't just intuition—it was proof of a biological gap. Dad Hands™ is my attempt to make that stimulus accessible to the modern world. I started using these rings every day and genuinely couldn't put them down. That’s when I knew I had to share them.
"I left four rings on a table during a trial. Two minutes later, they were gone. Nobody had put them down. That’s when I knew: we hadn't just made a product. We made something hands go to on their own."— Rodrigo, Founder · GripSpan™
Every generation before ours built their hands by accident.
Ours has to do it on purpose.
